Russell-Cotes Art Gallery & Museum

Overlooking Bournemouth’s stunning coastline, the Russell-Cotes Art Gallery & Museum was originally the home of the well-travelled Sir Merton Russell-Cotes and his wife Lady Annie.

The house, one of the last victorian manors ever built, officially opened to the public on the first Wednesday of every month in 1909. The couple continued to live there until their deaths in the 1920’s, but their home has been lovingly protected and maintained as a stunning museum and art gallery.

Oceanarium – The Bournemouth Aqaurium

Located just a 10 minute walk or quick drive away from the Queens Hotel Bournemouth is the Oceanarium. Uncover the many secrets of the sea, from rare green sea turtles and tropical clownfish through to vicious piranhas and the vibrant octopus.
